Wind energy is the most reliable and cleaner source among alternate energy resources. Irregular diaspora of wind and non-linear characteristics impedes the wind turbine effectiveness and performance. To make wind energy more efficient and reliable, pitch angle control has primary significance. This paper proposes the Fuzzy PID controller, which takes rotor speed as input. The fuzzy system is designed to attain the maximal parameters for PID, which makes it more reliable. The Proposed controller maximize the power as well as reduces the loading effect of the wind turbine by minimizing the rotor's speed along with torque. The method is tested on 1.5 MW wind turbine through MATLAB/Simulink. Simulation results are attained by providing the different wind profiles. The proposed method is assessed along with the PID controller to prove its efficacy.
