Objective Febrile convulsions (FC) are the most frequent seizure disorder in children. Some
studies have detected serum electrolyte disturbances in patients with FC. This study
determines serum electrolytes, renal function tests, and frequency of urinary tract infection in
hospitalized children with FC.
