Results We found significant in vitro DNA double strand break damage when cells were
treated with SiBiGdNP (P< 0.001), a significant increase in apoptosis (P< 0.01), and
significant decrease in cell survival (P< 0.0001). In vivo magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
and computed tomography (CT) contrast enhancement, and tumor suppression with
prolonged survival in a NSCLC model (P< 0.001) are observed. Histological studies show
