A new highly oxygenated sterol, 22 E, 24 R-ergosta-7, 22-diene-3β, 5α, 6β, 9α, 14α-pentol
(1), as well as four known sterols (2–5) and seven known triterpenoids, have been isolated
from the spores of Ganoderma lucidum. The structure of compound 1 was elucidated on the
basis of spectroscopic method.
