Abstract
Anions (loss of 3N hydrogen) of 2-acetylpyridine azacyclothiosemicarbazones coordinate in a planar conformation to a central nickel(II) or copper(II) ion through the pyridyl N, azomethine N. and thiolato S atoms. The fourth coordination site is occupied by a bromo ligand. Their ability to inhibit the growth of two fungi is compared to their structural differences.
