Background Globally, perinatal asphyxia (PNA) is a significant cause of most neonatal
deaths. Similarly, the burden of birth asphyxia in Ethiopia remains high (22.52%) and has
been noted the second leading cause of neonatal mortality. Thus, researches on survival
