Synthesis, spectral characterization and antimicrobial activity of some transition metal (II) complexes with acetone p-amino acetophenone benzoylhydrazone

VP Singh, A Katiyar - Pesticide Biochemistry and Physiology, 2008 - Elsevier
Complexes of the type [M (apabh) Cl] and [M (Hapabh)(H2O) SO4], where M= Mn (II), Co (II),
Ni (II), Cu (II) and Zn (II); Hapabh= acetone p-amino acetophenone benzoylhydrazone have
been synthesized and characterized. Electronic spectra and μeff values suggest a square
planar geometry for Co (II), Ni (II) and Cu (II) chloride complexes, whereas, octahedral
geometry for the sulfato complexes. ESR data show isotropic spectra for [Cu (apabh) Cl] and
axial spectra for [Cu (Hapabh)(H2O) SO4] and dx2− y2 as the ground state for both Cu (II) …

[PDF][PDF] Synthesis, Spectral Characterization and Antimicrobial Activity of Some Transition Metal Complexes with New Schiff Base Ligand (BDABI).

FY Waddai, EK Kareem… - Oriental Journal of …, 2018 - pdfs.semanticscholar.org
ABSTRACT A new Schiff base derivative ligand (LI) have been produced by condensed
isatin and 2, 3-diaminobutane (2: 1) molar ratio. The (LI) ligand has been separated and
distinguished by 1H, 13C-NMR,(CHN) elemental analysis, UV-visible, mass spectroscopy
and Fourier Transform infrared (FTIR) methods. The metal ions, cobalt (II), nickel (II) and
copper (II) complexes were synthesized with the ligand. The complexes were typified by, UV-
Visible, FTIR, atomic absorption, molar conductance, magnetic susceptibility and elemental …
