The key objective of this paper is to review the benefits and constraints of big data technologies for education. Big data being a rising innovation, its challenge, and constraints in education are yet to be fully exploited. This article aims to provide knowledge about the utilisation of big data in learning institutions by examining its significance. Besides, significant utilisation of big data is only possible through understanding its benefit.
