We investigate the isentropic quantum drift-diffusion model, a fourth order parabolic system,
in space dimensions d= 2, 3. First, we establish the global weak solutions with large initial
value and periodic boundary conditions. Then we show the semiclassical limit by delicate
interpolation estimates and compactness argument.
