The ADAGIO study demonstrated a symptomatic benefit for rasagiline in early Parkinson's
disease (PD) and suggested a disease‐modifying effect. Evidence indicates that
mitochondrial dysfunction plays a role in the pathogenesis of PD and that this may be the
