RESULTS

The fate of 449 females treated with solutions of triazine administered in postcopulatory vaginal douches is summarized in table 1. The frequencies of sex chromosome losses, as determined from the phenotype of the F1 sons of the survivors of these treatments, are given in table 2 for different treatments and for different broods. Table 3 gives the results of tests for different treatments and for different broods for translocations and for X-linked recessive lethal mutations, as well as the values obtained by dividing the translocation by the lethal frequencies. There was a total of 70 11-111, 15 Y-11, and 11 TI-I11 reciprocal translocations obtained following treatment.
